As common as it is today, it is hard to believe that there was a time where gaming franchises crossing over was just a pipe dream. Capcom broke down the wall, but they took the combination of some of the most unlikely of franchises and made it the norm.
Whether it was a colossal successful partnership with Marvel Comics or a collaboration with rivals Namco and SNK, the “Vs.” series brought unforgettable experiences to the fighting genre.
With Street Fighter 6 now upon us, it's time to look back at some classic Street Fighter titles, beginning with Street Fighter X Tekken.
It was a cool gamble imo. In reality, everyone were waiting for Namco version, Tekken X Street Fighter.
What killed this game was their planned reliance on GaaS with the whole gem system. It made little sense and made the game extremely unbalanced. Not to mention the unbalance of most of the characters, especially on the Tekken side

These fighting game series have been sitting out for too long. It's time for them to get a sequel.
to be fair, there were three capcom vs snk titles. 1, Pro & 2 but only one SvC Chaos. If there is a capcom/SNK crossover that needs a new entry it is that one.

The article states Tekken 7 might be the best fighter currently available on Xbox, but leaves out important information that it never takes advantage of the Xbox hardware. It never got any kind of patch/boost/upgrade for the more powerful Xbox consoles, meaning it still runs at 720p I believe, resulting in a very blurry look.
Truly wish more devs would respect their products and customers enough to address issues such as these.
