No, it's doomed by not being a good game. If anything nostalgia gave this game more recognition it would have gotten otherwise. Don't know why they made it a top down shooter either, those were the worse parts of the contra games that had it.

Nostalgia didn't make me hate or love this game. It just brought my attention to it.

It being a crap game made me hate it and I do strongly. This is a bad game, fan of Contra or not.

I’ve got it, never played it. Prey is a game I really wanted to like and it’s a game I really should have liked, everything about it is right up my street. But I just don’t know what it was but I just couldn’t stick with it.
