Boomtown writes: "I know, I know. We said we weren't reviewing any more games that publishers haven't sent us, but take this as the exception that proves the rule in more ways than one. Truth be told, I convinced Harry to let me write up this review, because this game is so significant in terms of the development of the gaming landscape, and because I don't think anyone has got the review of the game right yet.
LittleBigPlanet is a remarkably complicated game for a simple looking 2D platformer. Essentially your character, the simplistic but deeply customisable sackboy, can jump, grab onto certain items, run left and right and jump in and out of the three depth levels present in the worlds you will visit, and it is this simple gameplay, and the twisting of it that makes the story levels within the game such works of genius."
