Today Level-5 announced that it'll release the improved version of Yo-Kai Watch 4, titled Yo-Kai Watch 4++ in Japan on December 5, 2019.
Today Final Fantasy XIV Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida and Level-5 President Akihiro Hino announced a new collaboration.
With the way Yo-kai Watch games sell these days it needs all the help it can get. This will be a good advertisement for the series. Whether or not it will help in the long run is another story.

Wait, this is coming to the PS4? While the Earth is thrown off its axis, will the localizers stop pretending a concept rooted in Japanese mythology has nothing to do with Japan or am I asking for the moon here?
Well, according to Phoenix Wright the US has plenty of traditional Japanese villages that predate colonialism, so I see no reason to doubt that the country is full of mythical creatures loosely inspired by Japanese folklore either.
cool
Nice. I dont know how well youkai watch will sell on ps4 but im at least buying a copy
Not surprising they are trying to squeeze more sales out of this title.
