Same here. I'm not even interested in going back I tried my best, getting to him was a great achievement on it's own.
Still have this game in my backlog. Really need to get around to it. Having too much fun with BG3 atm, though.
30+ years of gaming xp and this is the first game that kicked my ass, currently stuck on the Owl second fight… I regret nothing.
I'm in the minority, but the Owl fights were waaaay harder for me than any other, including Isshin Sword Saint. I think I died on that rooftop anywhere between 60 to 80 times on him. I wish the game kept track.

Sekiro is a Fromsoft game but also it’s much different than other titles in the souls subgenre. Better to compare Wo Long to Nioh.
To be fair Wo Long's combat is BLATANTLY derivative from Sekiro so I think it merits the comparison.

hmmm tough to say, i think sekiro is the overall much better game, however i think the parry timing in wo long is better as your not worried about a stab or low move which requires a different parry which i just struggled to get a handle on in sekiro once i got up to a certain boss.
with wo long its the one parry move for any type of strike so all i need to worry about was getting my timing right as apposed to timing and which type of parry. Really like wo long for that aspect over sekiro but outside of that sekiro has wo long beat in every other catergory

Wo Long is like the RC Cola of Sekiro.
It’s not bad, but you know there’s better quality out there.
The amount of polish that is in Sekiro is unprecedented. Needless to say Wo Long still amazing.
