Astro A40 TR 4th Generation Headset and MixAmp Pro Review

Astro Gaming is on their 4th generation A40 TR Headset, and with an all new MixAmp Pro, they came to play.

If it works on Win 10 (plus PS4) why can't MSoft have the One use the same drivers/whatever as Win 10, hate needing multiple wireless headsets for consoles.

A40 is a wired headset, which still works on Xbox One on its own. It’s the MixAmp that is different.

Wired headsets are always compatible with all the consoles, I said wireless as if using cable on one console you might as well just use the cable on all consoles and save money.

@Lon3wolf Then why bring up wireless headsets on a post about a wired headset if you’re going to say that? Just feels unrelated.

Astro Gaming's New ASTRO.ID Collection 2 Headsets are Now Available

Even though they finally died a couple years ago, my original Astro A50s was awesome and lasted me for the better part of a decade.

That said, I'm using the HyperX Cloud Revolver S, and the sound is also fantastic, and far less pricey. It's just less comfortable than what I had with the A50s, not that it's uncomfortable either though. I just barely even noticed the A50s when wearing them.

Correct, they are and yep, it will.

Bit of a rubbish idea in my opinion.
