Sekiro has the unfortunate disposition of being a side project. Despite fans clamouring for more, Gamers will have to wait until after Elden Ring
Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and A24 today announced their collaboration with writer and director Alex Garland for a live-action film adaptation of FromSoftware Inc.’s world-renowned video game ELDEN RING.
Why? These live action adaptations have been oh so terrible lol. I know sonic is successful but I just couldn't enjoy the first movie. You cannot adapt a full game especially a 70+hr rpg into a small 1-2hr movie without many cuts.
But I suppose their goal is to reach more people with these films I guess.
i meam, theres alot of material there sure but ... most of these enemies are .. non human.
is the movie gonna be mostly cgi? ha.
FromSoftware shares new details on Elden Ring for Nintendo Switch 2, including two new classes, armor sets, and steed customizations.
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
Well it did pretty damn good for a side project. Unfortunately, as a Dark Souls fan, the combat was not for me. But I'm happy it opened the door to From Software for so many people.
Remember when FromSoft said they had 3 projects they were working on, which turned out to be Sekiro, Armoured Core and that other doll game? And then apparently Elden Ring has been in development for years?
Yeah... no doubt Sekiro was just a side project whereas Elden Ring will be the big hitter. Regardless though, Sekiro was still fantastic and did really well in sales!
Side project is GOTY
From Software is a power house. 6 banger souls games in 10 years.
