Casual: "Does it sound complicated? Believe me, it's not. In fact, Tropix 2 is idiotically simple. The mini-games are pared-down versions of your favorites: there's a swapping Match-3 game, a service game set in an ice cream parlor, a bowling game, and more. We liked the Pirates! game, where you shoot pirates and rubber ducks with a cannon, and then play a quick inlay jigsaw game to rebuild any damage to your ship."
While adults may not enjoy the experience quite as much as little nippers, and will surely breeze through in short order, kudos must still be given for the universally high quality of the whole package. Yes, certain activities prove more monotonous than others. And certainly, the setup's a bit patronizing for anyone over the age of 10. Still, more games could learn a thing or two from this splendidly presented grab bag of activities, sure to drive the wee ones coco-nuts.
