Fire Emblem: Three Houses has launched on Switch, and to the surprise of many, is pulling in very, very good reviews, with many praising it as a big leap forward for the series, and in more ways than it just coming to the big screen.
Three Houses is actually one of the ten best reviewed games of 2019, and obviously we have a lot of big fall releases still to come, but with what’s been released so far, and how far into the year we are, it’s impressive all the same.
The Resident Evil 2 remake has hit yet another huge milestone that no one saw coming, becoming the series' highest-sold single SKU title.
Bought this game like 2 years ago and have yet to play it. I was about to yesterday night, but decided to plow through my existing ff7 rebirth play through instead. But this is next up.
Man, I hope that rumored classic trilogy collection drops. One thing I loved about these Remakes were how they blended that old-school obtuse back-tracking puzzle solving gameplay and this is going to sound psycho but the gore was kinda next level, lol.
Excellent game, though I kinda hate how these Remakes omit large portions of the originals. I’d have liked to see the giant spiders in the sewer or do something creative with the giant moth. Also I wish the city bit was more 1:1. One of the coolest parts was just seeing the city and the chaos that happened in the OG 2 and 3.
Miyazaki's clearly got Sekiro and Bloodborne in his heart, and refining their combat philosophy is in his mind.
Hells yeah. Would love to see another really tight action focused title next. Be cool if he did something completely different, like a cyborg-ninja game.
A sequel to the studio's acclaimed title, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, would be the perfect swan song for long-time video game director Hidetaka Miyazaki.
I just don't see it happening given the success of Elden Ring. I think we'll be seeing a sequel to Elden Ring before anything else.
I'm not into souls games but it's good to see that this dev studio stick to what makes their titles unique, there's alot of souls copy n pasted games but they rarely get talked about cause they're looked at as copies and not original created ideas, the souls games are unique cause they offer they're own identity instead imitating I respect that
Or Bloodborne 2 preferably both but that’s a lot to ask if he plans on retiring sooner than later
