The Judgment Series Far Surpasses Yakuza, But Fans Are Not Willing To Accept It

The Judgement games comprise beautiful storytelling and fun combat, making them superior to their predecessors.

Been with Yakuza since literally day 1, and no, it's like 75% as good as the lowest Yakiza game, but it never quite reaches the same hight, even the combat just feels clumsy and almost dynasty warriors like compared to Yakuzas more intimate, micro focused combat. I always feel like im just wildly flailing around in judgment and it really takes away a lot of the satisfaction.

I agree, the current Yakuza games are just a parody of what the original Yakuza games were.

At least the Judgement games try to take themselves seriously.

I was bored playing Lost Judgement and stopped playing but i loved Like a Dragon Gaiden.

Maybe i just don't like the Judgement cast. I would rather a Majima(or several others...) classic yakuza beat em up spin off over Judgement.

I love the Judgment series but it doesn't. Very close mind you but I always felt something was slightly lacking compared to the main series

So much so that I’ve purchased all games available for the PS4, as I know I’ll thoroughly enjoy those experiences.
