On its face, Metaloid Origin looks like it does a lot right, but it doesn't hold up over time and scrutiny. Here's what you need to know.
Exophase: "One look at Metaloid: Origin and you’ll instantly be sent back to the glory days of the Sega Genesis. It’s not without some glaring flaws, but ultimately, the running and gunning gameplay is plenty fun and worth a look by folks who want something a little retro."
If someone played Retro Revolutions previous game Metagal, they will be happy to hear that with the sequel they have made improvements across the board. Unfortunately, improving every single facet of the game only brings Metaloid: Origins to the status of an alright video game.
