Nintendo Needs to Bring 3DS Games to the Nintendo Switch

The 3DS was relatively successful, but so many people have never played its best games. Some Nintendo Switch ports could change that.

They are bringing 3DS games to the Switch.... have you not seen Sword and Shield? ;)

In all seriousness a virtual console would be GREAT but they just won't do it.

Of course it would be great, but not having it is clearly not hurting sales which is why I say it does not NEED it.

As for Sword and Shield, the Switch is a successor to both so I do not see the problem. ;)

I could see Luigi's Mansion 1 and 2 on switch. Also, add Metroid Samus Return and Super Mario 3D land. I am sure there are a bunch of gems.

these and A Link Between Worlds. Just can the 3DS and use the Switch as a boost of power plus it increases the Switch's library. I fell off the DS's years ago and don't have a desire to go back. Bring them to Switch!

"Relatively successful" I'd say 75M+ Units sold along with 378M+ Software Units sold a great success. Sure, not as much as the DS had but the DS didn't have to compete with Smartphones and Tablets until much later in the life cycle.

Nah best console for me for old games is 3ds got all the 3ds rereleases ocarina of time etc DS games which also included games like Mario 64 VC covers nes snes mega drive game gear and mine also has GBA. Love my back catalogue on 3ds the Zelda collection is awesome. I’d like VC on switch only I’ve like when they transferred from Wii to Wii u I get major 80-90%discount/small upgrade fee like last time or simply I can redownload for free. They won’t tho they will just drip feed them to their online subscriptions

I’d take a new kid Icarus and pilotwings and also a switch version of wario ware brand new one include old games fine but generally all new and built for switch like they’ve had one for every system.

It blows my mind how far behind 3ds, switch still is in terms of features and online presence.
3ds had ways to communicate with other people on 3ds, it had miiverse, streetpass, spotpass.
Switch just feels completely lifeless.
