Halo Infinite: 343i will receive support of one of the studios involved on Mass Effect Andromeda

Sparesoft that have worked on several AAA games as a support studio, from FIFA to Mass Effect Andromeda, is now working on Halo Infinite.

Considering the fact that Halo Infinite will be a launch title for Scarlett, it definitely needs to impress and especially for a long time Halo fans who thought Halo 5 story was a disappointment. So the more help they get the better for Halo fans and gamers in general who want an awesome game to start the next generation with.

Just as the article says, the main animation work will be done by 343 and Sperasoft will be only supporting and they worked on quite alot of games like AC Odyssey, COD blops4, R6Siege, Mortal Kombat etc etc so they didnt just work on Andromeda and Andromeda's failure shouldn't be blamed on them, it should be blamed on Bioware and EA. Also some of the animations they did look pretty good.

Almost every studio AAA game gets help for the lead studio for either specific expertise or just plain resourcing they don't have enough of. Go and watch the credits of any large AAA game or movie for that matter and you can see there are a bunch of studios involved. Getting additional resourcing is no indicator for how good the game may or may not be.

The quality of the outsourced product is going to be as good as the resources that are put into hiring that outsourced company. Ultimately, the producer is responsible for the content in the delivered product, and if they give the resources, and demand expectations be met, they'll be met. Just because the outsourced studio here is working on something, doesn't mean they were responsible for the failings that may have showed up in another game.

I dont think its paranoia. If the article cited their good work, the tone from the comments would be different. Instead of saying that the game will suck because of this, they'd say how it's now going to be good because of this. Doesn't matter if the work they're doing is similar to other work they did, or if their work was the cause if other games success or failing.

Citing the negative sends a pointed message, because who cares if they got a studio that helped with a good game. Outsourcing is so common nowadays that it's not really even newsworthy, and the end user doesn't care. But...attach it to something negative and it gives bored or hateful people something to rally against.

I really want MS to be back in this fight. The original Xbox, and the 360 were both my primary consoles. The One was meant be that too, but aside from a few exclusives, MS performed badly much of this gen. I'm looking forward to them guys taking chances and risks again. It can be a great reference point but it's not realistic to hold the same standard for years

Game developers often use third parties for added support and fresh ideas. 343 will be working with Sperasoft who are helping with some concept art and animation work. They work with multiple studios with Bioware just being 1 of them.

From their own site: "Sperasoft contributed to art and produced high profile assets including spaceships, spaceship upres models for cinematic trailers and in-game event scenes, props, weapons, armors, outfits and main characters’ hair. "

It's not all doom and gloom because they are bringing in a third party to assist with the workload.
