2,600 hours is a lot of hours. It’s the equivalent of 108 days, 15 weeks or 3.5 months. It’s also the incredible amount of time Braden “ChainChompBraden” Moor has spent trying to beat Trials of Death, a Mario Maker monstrosity of his own making, a towering journey into the heart of gaming darkness. Moor's journey started in December 2015, more than three years before Nintendo announced Mario Maker 2, and he still hasn’t finished Trials of Death.
Super Mario Maker has been a great series for Nintendo, but it is time to move on. How about a Metroid Maker? That would be interesting! Check out Jason Capo’s thoughts for more.
I'd go either for Metroid Maker a Zelda Maker would also be great even a Mario Kart Maker as well.
Nintendo has announced that as of Jan. 12, 2021, the original Super Mario Maker game for the Wii U will not be available for purchase on the eShop.
I mean there is a sequel available. My guess is Nintendo will want you to move towards a more current version.

Super Mario U is a great one that reminds me alot of Super Mario World on snes. When ran in 4k@60fps on pc, it's hard not to love it.
I don't understand the appeal of masochistically hard games. To each his own, I guess.
