I wanted the PES, because I own Detroit Become Human already, but what should I do? Do I complain non-stop or just move on and understand that even though I have it already, someone would enjoy it? Some gamers these days are so selfish, and think whatever they want is what everyone wants.

Eh, I wouldn't call people selfish for complaining about this. Those people were told they were getting one thing from a service they pay for, but then last minute it was switched for something else.

I do think Detroit Become Human is the better pick for those that don't have it, but I don't think it's a problem for those that were hoping to get PES to be a bit peeved about the situation.

PS+ is more expensive now that it was during the PS3 era. PS+ is making far more revenue Sony more revenue now than it ever did last gen. Sony can more than afford to offer more games per month on IGC, especially now that they’re not offering PS3 or Vita games on the service

If I hadn't played either, I'd want Detroit. But I own Detroit and heavy rain on ps4, so PES was better for me. Not overly excited about it, but I dont mind a sports game once in a while.

Since I already own Detroit I was looking forward to PES. I don't own any soccer games so, the change in pace would have been cool. I did find out that there is a "free" Lite version of PES 19. I have been having fun with it. I'm actually considering buying the standard edition.

Idk who makes these calls at Sony, I’ll say this though, their ps+ free game lineup has been lackluster these past few years. Sure they’re free games.... but the quality of these games have been subpar at best

Wouldnt be a bit surprised if EA also lobbied to have it changed. This could have given a lot of FIFA fans a chance to check out the competition for free and could have financial repercussions for EA going forward.
