Classic dev tricks, put stuff darker, blur the details here and there, remove some useless stuff. You probably won't see the difference that much in game.

Not really, I have beaten the easy difficulty on Adventure Mode. That is easy when you have learned the game mechanics. Then I tried hard mode and got my ass handed over to my myself. That difficulty is the Dark Souls of Karting.

But no, this game is incredibly smooth for being in 30fps. There`s good enough response and no input lag to take that much notice to it. Sure, I wish it was in 60 fps, but what we got is really good.

30fps is unacceptable. I'll stick to my 1080p 60fps locked Mario Kart 8D.

Yes, it is.

60 fps would be something that I wish it was. But nothing in the 30fps is making this game unplayable, rather the opposite, it plays better and more fun than mk8 to be honest. The 4k resolution makes every bump have a bigger meaning because of how big the tracks are both in size and length. It makes everything a little more fun when there is more precision in the gameplay.

And I really prefer this game before Mario Kart 8 to be honest.

In Mario Kart 8 it all depends to much on the luck instead of the driving skills. Be too good and you get penalized by the blue shell. It´s the very opposite in Crash Team Racing where you get rewarded to be a better racer. It´s a fun and steep learning curve upwards which you then can test yourself against others in online matches.

feel like it's parity or maybe they were like they'd rather put extremely high quality motion blur to smoothen it and make sure it never drops frames. It's never dropped a frame yet on PS4 pro for me personally. I'd rather it be this smooth though 60fps definitely feels like it could have been achieved and they just held back. Honestly the game definitely feels alot smoother than 30fps though and this is coming from someone who's only been basically playing everything at 60fps on console or on PC at that or higher

There are far more demanding racers on the Xbox One and PS4 that run at (or near) 60 FPS with resolutions at or near 1080p. The visuals and physics of kart racers, like Crash Team Racing shouldn’t be anywhere near as demanding on GPU and CPU resources When compared to: Forza Motorsport 7 (Xbox One) or Gran Turismo Sport (PS4).
