Super Mario Bros gets a battle royale mode

The famous game which every true 90s kid played. Well, it’s not that same now but guess what I don’t care it’s still a classic.

It has a battle royale. So move along Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex the big league is here. The Battle Royale is a browser-based game with 100 players and they have to race to the end of the world but you can damage them with Koopa shells, or break the block they’re standing on to send them tumbling down. Power-ups are shared, so only one player can grab that crucial mushroom.

A fan, taking things into his own hands, has gone ahead to create the unofficial Super Mario Bros. 5. Quite the accomplishment.

I still have Halo 2 for the OG XBox in plastic. I pray that one day someone is willing to give me at least $50k for it. Lol!

strayanalog987d ago (Edited 987d ago )

Really? Unopened it's roughly in the 100 - 600 dollar range, which already isn't too shabby at all.

GamingSinceForever987d ago

Hmm! Thanks I might be on to something. 😂

I have The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition for GameCube one sealed and one not sealed. Maybe I should sell the sealed one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/14...
😮

P_Bomb987d ago (Edited 987d ago )

Holy crap! I have that Zelda pack but unsealed! Couldn’t resist.

XxINFERNUSxX987d ago (Edited 987d ago )

I'm thinking about keeping it longer you should to! 😀 The price will only go up in time even unsealed. .👍

warriorcase987d ago

I'd keep a close eye on the market if your thinking of selling and try off load at a time of less listings when the window presents itself. That's if your planning to sell mind you.

Seems that item currently is highly speculative and bouncing around a lot. It's important to search sold listing if using ebay and not current listing to see pricing. I say it's bouncing because in the past 90 days copies of that exact item also factory sealed in mint condition have sold from $300 all the way up to $1100 with one graded copy selling for $3k.

It's a pure crap shoot at the moment.

XxINFERNUSxX986d ago

Yeah, the price will be all over the place your right. Now $1000 tomorrow $500 so who knows. I'll just hang on to mine.

Chocoburger986d ago

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I have a sealed one as well! 😁

ScootaKuH987d ago

Anyone want my limited edition of Crisis Core for PSP? It comes with an art book. A steal at £5 million surely?

SoulWarrior987d ago

Grading companies, the inflated value these add are ridiculous, I used to be a big yugioh collector but it's just made it a big turn off me, now it's in video game lol.

Fans resurrect Super Mario Bros Royale as a free open-source project, available to play

DSOGaming writes: "Two weeks ago, we informed you about a free fan Battle Royale game based on Nintendo’s classic 8-bit Super Mario Bros game. Nintendo was quick to react and took it down a week later and even though its creator made some adjustments to avoid any future copyright claim, Nintendo kept shutting it down. This act forced a few fans of the game to resurrect the original version and release it as a free open-source project."

Just upload it to a torrent site, Nintendo can't do shit after that. The fans can secretly keep working on it and upload all their work on any torrent site.
