Gamer 2.0 writes: "Developed by the adventure game geniuses at Ubisoft Montreal (responsible for the Prince of Persia series), Naruto: Rise of the Ninja was a game that allowed players to explore the depths and surroundings of Konoha, the Hidden Leaf Village where Naruto resides. But because of the bugs, glitches, and extremely repetitive missions kept it from reaching its potential. We got our hands on the new demo to see if Naruto: The Broken Bond learned from its predecessor's faults.
The sequel, entitled Naruto: The Broken Bond, looks to improve in the areas in which the previous game faltered. The game picks up right where the original left off, during the Konoha Invasion Arc with Orochimaru and the Sand village's attack on Konoha and the chaos that ensued. The demo starts with Naruto needing to escape from the village to meet up with Sakura and Shikamaru to find Gaara and Sasuke, who are fighting at that moment, while Orochimaru's giant snakes destroy the village, putting obstacles in Naruto's path. Broken Bond covers the rest of the show's run until the end of the Rescue Sasuke arc, where fillers take over until the second Naruto series begins."
