FF7 was the first RPG that really hooked me. I'm interested.

roadkillers2207d ago

Pokemon was mine. FF8 was my first FF, but not my first Fantasy. It also wasnt my final.

Wait am I reading this article correctly? Did the dev team say the first episode/part takes place entirely in Midgard? It's not until you leave Midgard does the orginal FF7 really open up.

Uh oh that explains why there was no Cid, Yuffie, Vincent and Red XII in the trailers. I hope I'm just misinterpreting what is written in this article.

TeamIcoFan2207d ago

Red XIII aka Nanaki does actually show up in Midgar in the original, he was one of Hojo's "specimens" and got the name Red XIII from Hojo.

AK912207d ago

*facepalm* your absolutely correct can't believe I forgot that and mistook his name as Red XII.

TeamIcoFan2207d ago

No worries, it's a big game and if you haven't played it recently stuff like that is easy to forget. :P

Lionsguard2207d ago (Edited 2207d ago )

It most definitely ends by the time you leave Midgar. The entire Midgar storyline has been expanded on though. Most likely fleshes out Wedge, Biggs, Jessie, the Turks, etc. Square really needs to just come out and say this clearly because I've been running into people who think the second disk somehow contains the rest of the entire game. They don't even know how many parts this is going to have.

Honestly this sounds incredible! Plus Jesse has a crush on Cloud and Wedge just wants to be his friend loool

Yeah. That’s the first I’ve seen it anywhere near #1.

Mario 64 is great but I wouldn’t put it over Mario World.

Not having any Xenoblade Chronicles games on the list is a crime.

CUnit123123113d ago

Sorry lol. I wrote the article but 5 of us voted for many different games and majority went on the list then we worked on the list. If it were just my personal top favorite we'd seen some xenoblade and star ocean as well as some others. Thanks for checking out it!

RavenWolfx112d ago

Chrono Trigger at 31 makes my heart hurt.

Zeldafan64111d ago

Not having any Xenoblade Chronicles games on the list at all is a crime.

The effort here is impressive. Hope it doesn’t get taken down.

fr0sty323d ago

He should have done it in Dreams though, the limitations of having done it in LBP are obvious.

solideagle323d ago

ah Dreams had so much potential, I think they should have released it on PC. one can only dream about dreams sale and popularity on PC. PC has modding/creative crowd and I think it would have been a hit

I love seeing projects like this. So much passion and time.
