They don't want to make a new one because they can't turn it into a multiplayer game.

So god damn true

Everything they do now is online based and that's why everything feels samey.

Even though we have first person and third with different mechanics, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six and The Division felt the same. They wern't...but it's starting to feel like it, that's how bad it's getting.

JustInTlME1933d ago

But they could. Pandora tomorrow and Chaos Theory had the best multiplayer gameplay to date. So fucking amazing! Spies vs Mercs was pure joy!

Prince of Persia

A 3D Rayman game

Splinter Cell

Red Steel

So on...they just don't give a shit

EazyC1933d ago

Wow, if they just had the show comprised of everything you listed I would be extremely happy. So put off by what Ubi and most others had to show at this year's E3... it's not even that it's 'bad' (thinking Kinect reveal here), but it has been so samey and boring this year.

Ubisoft is letting so many franchises rot. If they can’t make a service out of it they won’t bother making a sequel to it

BlueBlue1933d ago

What if they are taking their time with the development of their next entry? The 2018 listings of Amazon Italy suggest a new one.

This is what Nintendo fears. It will hit their Pokémon go community AND consoles. Change the ball system and move on.

To be honest. I think these two companies are working together. Their companies represent the same nation, so global money coming in is good for everyone.
