15 years ago today, Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures in North America. An expanded take on a bonus mode offered in its GBA port of A Link to the Past, Adventures made liberal use of Nintendo's GBA Link Cable for GameCube. The best Legend of Zelda games experiment and tackle new grounds for the industry. These are the essential titles in the series you need to play.
I am a huge Zelda fan and love them all, but for me Ocarina Of Time is the greatest and my second all time favourite game after Final Fantasy VII.
Oh gee can't imagine what Number 1 is
....
A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker etc is better than Breath of the Wild.
Majora's Mask still holds as my favorite to this day, despite being the black sheep of the series.
I love them all, but Wind Walker, Link to the Past and Minish Cap are my favorites
Consoles came and went, and while other Nintendo titles like Mario Kart allowed for a shared experience, it wasn’t until the release of Four Swords Adventures on the GameCube that we saw the first push for Zelda into the multiplayer realm.

Had a lot of fun playing this with my little brother back then, particularly the gamecube version. Switching from the tv to my gameboy advance when entering caves/dungeons was a really neat feature.
Four Swords on Gamecube is still a great single player game as well.
This Four Swords concept really needs to be brought back. Even if it’s not another TLoZ game, I’d like to see an indie dev to make a similar spiritual successor
