Anyway, when you talk about natives which tribe do you mean? Many of them committed all kinds of atrocities to other tribes long before Europeans started fighting with them. It doesnt excuse what happened, but lets not act like every group of people has not committed atrocities. Its also not as if many of the native tribes waged war on the European settlers, it wasnt just a one sided thing.

Look into what north america was like before Europeans came, its shockingly violent. However the best idea of all, is to focus on today and making things fair for today. If you want to fix the past how far do you want to go? Humans have been killing each other for centuries.

1. People pissed at Jax's ending are overreacting. There are pretty much two things that are always talked about that someone should do if they could travel through time. Kill Hitler before he rises to power. And stop slavery. So it isn't like this was a new idea. In fact, Inwould think anlot of people would do this, black or white. (Unless I'm just being optimistic)

2. The article barely talks about Nightwolf. Why? Because this whole idea was made by someone making a smartass comment on Reddit. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Netherrealm plans on doing anything like this with Nightwolf's ending. This article is 90% about "review bombs" and their origins, and what recent games have suffered for it. Nightwolf is mentioned almost as an afterthought in the very last paragraph. This whole ending makes no sense though. Jax never experiences slavery first hand. The only thing he knows about it is from media and history books, therefore, if he went back in time and abolished it, then he would have no memory of it in the first place as he didn't actually experience any of it, and there would be no written history of it, so how would he even be aware that slavery existed in the first place?

You're talking about a time paradox. When in the story, it isn't a paradox.

Jax knew about slavery in the first place because it happened. He didn't have to experience it first hand. You didn't, yet you know it was a thing, right? So he went back in time and stopped it from happening.

So in the NEW future he created it can go three ways depending on how time travel works in this universe.

1. Jax doesn't remember it NOW because slavery never happened because he stopped it.

2. He DOES remember it. Liu Kang didn't suddenly forget everything that happened before at the end of the game's story. So why would Jax?

3. Jax DOES remember it because he personally experienced going back in time and ending it. So he would remember that.

I'd call the new female char designs Woke, but i wouldn't call the new endings woke from what I've read, tons of movies and games go back and rewrite history in favor of a protagonist or antagonist motivation, whether good or bad.
