Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, following the release of the PS5 version, came in second place.
Astro Bot dropped one spot to third place, while Monster Hunter Wilds remained in fourth place. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is up one spot to fifth place and EA Sports FC 25 is up six spots to sixth place.
Playstation owners buy games.
Strange seeing Hogwarts there as I downloaded it for my son from PS Plus a couple of days ago.
3DClouds has announced the pirate adventure Trident's Tale will be launching worldwide on May 22nd for Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
The original Frostpunk is getting a remaster in Unreal Engine 5 alongside new content for returning fans.
The last hockey game I remember playing was blades of steel on the NES (honest truth) but I have to say this one looks nice. I'm getting a bit burned out on these pixel style indie games for current gen. Seems that style is super easy to do and is being overused. Portal is a fun one and who doesnt love EDF. I just wished it was 2025 instead of 2017.
All Solid games for the month.
NHL19 is awesome. Not a fan of watching the sport, but the games have traditionally been great, even for non-fans of the sport, and I remember playing the hell out of the first NHLPA game(s) on Megadrive. I have NHL18 though, and usually just 1 buy hockey game each gen, so not sure how much of an improvement 19 will be, over 18. I like the outdoor stuff though.
Portal is cool, but would have preferred Portal 2, obviously.
Good month.
Dropped the ball big time IMO.
PS+ went with The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania, two popular/big franchises.
So Xbox answers with... NHL and a Smash clone? Welp.
