I hate microsoft but I agree with him, we need competitor to make sure everyone -plays fair rules otherwise corporation cant wait to win and then rip gamers off. Thats nothing new. We gamers need to stick together, regardless of my hatred against microsoft

Buying studios is just one step. The ethos at Microsoft has been making games as a vehicle for some other initiative. Case in point: forcing crackdown 3 as a means to highlight gamepass. For subscribers it’s an option...equivalent to Netflix streaming shovelware. It’s an option for sure but not a very good one. I do feel bad for those that actually forked out 60 for it.

Basically, I’m glad Microsoft is trying to improve their first party but I have a STRONG HESITATION about most of their first party content. Most of those studios don’t have a strong recent track record. I’ll watch and wait to see what they put out.

Buying studios and actually releasing good games are totally different things. You are assuming that by buying some studios, everything wrong with Microsoft is fixed and that's total BS.

While I agree that it's generally better to be positive, I think that cautious optimism is what we should practice in regards to Microsoft.

The studio acquisitions don't necessarily mean a bunch of solid new IPs; Microsoft could do anything with those new studios. Let's not needlessly dump on Microsoft, but nobody should be popping any champagne either.

Funny that they still charge to play free to play games on xbox one. If you dont have live gold than youre SOL if you want to lay fortnite on xbox. you dont need plus or nintendo's online to enjoy this free game. Yet xboxone fans will worry more about sony not having cross play than to call MS out on this shady BS.
