I actually like this design makes the character look more interesting

Isn't that an exact copy of Bayonetta high kick pose? This one:

Abriael2190d ago

You mean a high kick pose is similar to another high kick pose?

You don't say.

PS: no. It isn't even close to an exact copy.

dragon_rocks2190d ago

Really genius? Check this side by side image and tell me it is not exactly the same pose? If it is just like any other high kick pose then can you find another one just like this?

Abriael2190d ago

Yes, really. The angle of Bayo's legs is much more extreme, and Chun-li's right arm is obviously lower. Those are just two details, but there are many more for anyone who has eyes.

So much for "exact copy."

dragon_rocks2189d ago

Yeah as if one will measure the angles and levels as well. The poses are exactly similar meaning each part of the body doing exactly same thing. You said this high kick pose is similar to another is common right? Can you show me another high kick pose just like these?

Abriael2189d ago

Lol. Before it was "exact copy" now it's "exactly similar"

Starting to move the goal posts?

From Chun-li's own sprites:

dragon_rocks2189d ago (Edited 2189d ago )

No one is moving goalposts. Any normal person with common sense would have understood what was meant by exact copy of pose in this case. Since you wanted to measure by angle and levels I said similar to make the point. Now lets compare your e.g. with the other two.

* The hand is in front of her face and not on the side above her head like in the other two.
* The crack of her butt is not clearly visible through her skin tight dress like in the other two.
* Her kicking leg is not lifted enough. Its more of at 50% compared to the about 75% in the other two.

So basically your e.g. is one of a high kick which is not exactly similar to the other two. You want to try again? Or do you want to call difference based on color palette and textures for the original two now?

Edit: Also noticed that you are the guy who posted this stuff. So trying to keep your post hot I guess. I'm out now. Have fun.

After 5 and a half years, we are now waiting for a new street fighter game, not new characters to the old game. continue mortal kombat

PapaBop1384d ago

A lot of people are hyped for Akira, seeing as it's been so long since Rival Schools.

Yi-Long1384d ago

That’s because Akira is from the era when Capcom still had amazing character design. Personally been pretty disappointed with most of the new fighters, design-wise, for SF4 & 5.

Not really feeling new guy Luke either.

Pocky has just announced their partnership with Capcom

Glico’s Pocky Label Announces Its Entry in the Esports World In their First Global Partnership with Street Fighter™ V: Arcade Edition Proudly Presents the “Pocky K.O. Challenge”.

TGG_overlord2009d ago

It's some candy from Japan, you can see the pocky candy in a lot of animes and mangas.

bluefox7552008d ago

They make these thin cookie sticks that are dipped in chocolate, very popular with anime fans for some reason. I've only recently discovered this as well.

rainslacker2007d ago

pocky is really good stuff. Can often be found in a decent size grocery store's asian section, or an asian market. I highly recommend trying it.

Simon_the_sorcerer2008d ago

Pocky and Capcom? Sure, why not? :P

TGG_overlord2008d ago

That's right, well, I like the Pocky candy at least ;)

darthv722008d ago

Does this mean they will have SF flavored pocky...? Like Chun Li and R Mika flavored?

ReVibe2008d ago

I used to collect various obscure Pocky flavors and hoard the boxes. I find this collaboration better suited for Pockymon than a fighting game.

rainslacker2007d ago

I like the banana chocolate one's the best. They had an orange cream-sickle thing I liked a lot, but they stopped selling it everywhere I knew to get it locally. Asked at an anime convention if it was still available, and they said that it wasn't available from their stateside distributor anymore.
