BG writes: "The gameplay of both games, and the story of FFX in particular, saved these games in 2019. The linear experience of FFX can hit modern gamers against the head, especially since the first hours are very slow and the majority of the environments consist of a linear path with a fairly high encounter rate. This remains the same in FFX-2, since most locations are almost exactly the same as in FFX.

Despite those shortcomings, partly inherent in the time the games were released, I again enjoyed FFX in particular. I don't know if it is nostalgia or something else, but I got a kind of magical feeling with the game, where you are taken completely into the journey with Yuna and Tidus."
