"After playing through both Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed 3: Remastered recently, I felt myself wanting to jump back into what I considered for many years to be the very best entry in the entire franchise" - Huzaifah Durrani
Black flag is still my favorite.
AC2 still aces it in story, characters and music. Black Flag didnt have a good story, it just had good vibes.
I can't even remember the lead character's name from Black Flag, he was that forgettable.
I remember his as Conway Twitty
Easily the best game in the series and the only one that compelled me to finish it outside of AC2.
Black Flag is the best ac, though i have always hated the future parts from ac series, its garbage, i just wish they had person telling story instead breaking the immersion with future crap
Still has the worst protagonist. Don't get me wrong. Edward is a Cool enough character, but he is so malplaced within the story they are trying to tell. How his character is constantly undermining what is happening in the story stands out like a sore thumb. The game really should have been a pure pirate game and not an ac.
Not even an assassin until the very end of the game.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze will always be my favorite assassin. He has such an awesome name, and Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood are arguably the best games in the series.
I remember taking part in a survey at one point, not too long after Origins came out, and them asking at that point which was the best game with the best protagonist. the assassin's Creed "trilogy" Ezio's story Rated like 73%, and was Easily considered the best. I'd have to say that as far as the story, the settings, and engagement? nothing could beat Ezio's story arc, nothing's really come close either...
I loved Black Flags but it didn't feel like an Assassins Creed game at all and Edward just fell into the whole Assassin thing. So really Ezio still tops him character wise. Not to mention how Edward died in the end was pretty lame reading about it, kind of a shitty way to go for a great character.
Yes he is. There isn't even any real competition tbh.
Altair and Bayek are leaps and bounds better than Ezio the womanizer.
You are criticizing an assassin for being a womanizer? I don't think any of these guys are in the running for Boy Scout of the Month. Jus sayin
@PHANTOM. He's Italian.
Unfortunately Bayek was attached to a boring game. Just not as boring as the latest grind.
Altaiir is still my favorite to this day. Second would be Aveline.
From birth, to teenage years, adulthood all through the day he died. They even made a movie to show who he married. He's the most fleshed out, and definitely the best. They tried to do the same with Conner and Arno, but they just rushed through it
Bayek from Origins was good too.
Well, that is up for debate isn't it? It is interesting to me when I see people pass their opinions or likes as facts. Such certainty without clarity.
ACIII was literally THE worst of them all and Ezio really was the best character.
Eh, Syndicate was definitely the worst. So forgettable no one even brings it up in comparisons.
It really was horrible. The copy/paste NPCs were just embarrassing.
Uh yeah he is. You smoking something fierce.
Bayek is definitely my favorite AC character and game
another click bait article!! every assasin's creed player know that Ezio Auditore da Firenze is hands down the best assasin in the whole AC universe.
According to me, Ezio is still the best. Funny, with charisma and deadly. They even made 3 games with him (but the last one wasn't my favorite one). I didn't like at all Connor. And i liked Edward Kenway. But for me, Ezio is stil lthe numer 1.
Eh I disagree his Trilogy was the best in the series and the only one who seemed like a true Assassin (along with Altair).
Currently playing through Odyssey and think Kassandra is pretty good but that might be cause I have different dialogue options to choose from, the worst for me was definitely the guy from Unity, I can remember all the names from the ones i've completed but literally have no idea what his name was he was that forgettable lol
Arno Dorian. I thought he was a really good character. The campaign in Unity was really good once you got past the bugs. The problem with Unity was the over-hyped co-op. Oh....and some of the city design was atrocious. Hallways in buildings that extended only from one window to another. Crap like that was ridiculous.
Arno that's it lol yeah the main issue for me was black flag was my favorite assassins creed game so going from that to unity I felt let down in so many areas, slogged through it but didn't get the same feeling, like in black flag I just wanted to explore the entire world! Might go back to complete the dlc for unity as I never even tried it.
I think kassandra is now my favourite assassin. She's s badass.
