Final Fantasy XII Doesn't Seem To Run At 4K On Xbox One X Contrary To Earlier PR Claims

Final Fantasy XII is available now on the Xbox One X. The game was marketed as offering 4K and 60 FPS on the Xbox One X but only one of the claims has turned out to be true with 4K nowhere to be found.

Okay I was wondering why not one single person posted. The site didn't load for me like a half hour did not know it's been up and down for hours.

Clearly false advertising plus if the Pro can do 1440p supersamled down from 4k 30, one assumes the X can do so as well so its absence just seems lazy.. then again the Swit h runs at under 600p in portable mode....

Just seems like such a non-story, honestly.

I don't think it's up for debate whether or not the One X can handle this game at 4K/60fps-- clearly, it can. It has done so with far more demanding titles.

Obviously, there's some other reason. Could be as simple as poor optimization. We don't know, so where does one really go with this kind of news? I really couldn't say, which is probably why neither of our comments are about the article itself, just your speculation to why no one says anything and why my comment is speculation on reasoning. There's really nothing of substance here in my opinion.

Agree. Although it still would have been good reading peoples speculations. Apparently the sites been hit or miss today.

well it clearly can't. If pro is running 1440p at 30. They went with 1080p 60fps fpr a reason. It can normally do it with games of that calibre. Hell, WipEout Omega on PS4 pro runs native 4k at 60fps. But whatevery they're doing with the FFXII remaster is making things a issue
