Mortal Kombat 11 'Net Connection Required to Unlock Gear, Access Krypt, Tower of Time & Achievements

It's now confirmed that even after the day one patch for Mortal Kombat 11, you'll still need to be connected to the internet to be able to unlock gear, access certain parts of the game, and even for Trophies/Achievements.

So to do offline things i need net connection? My net isnt even stable at nights. These guys pulled an Activision/EA move

Yeah this is beyond stupid, there goes my purchase. Locking single player fighter behind a wall like that, pfffft

They did a d*ck move with injustice too with the loot crates and such but now this? Its getting out if hand

So what CAN I do on my Nintendo Switch version while outside?

Gemmol2255d ago

Use your phone as a hotspot it works for me

This stuff of blocking happens too much for my liking.

I get why Tower of Time is online only, but Achievements and gear? Why? Maybe they can patch it wherein it's instances that are load and uploaded? Like, you earn something and you unlock it, but you have to be connected online to use it in a match?

I still don't understand why do they all release new games in a row state. Well, actually I understand, developers should meet the deadlines, but it's so unfair from the customers' point of view.
