If that is so important to you there's always Dead or Alive. I've always thought that it's a bit cringey with female fighters wearing skimpy outfits and that it looks silly and not like something a fighter would wear. Especially for a MK game, where it doesn't fit the theme at all.

Apart from a few new character designs that I don't like the game looks bloody awesome. Fighting game of the generation for me.

I don't have a problem with modest female characters in video games, I have a problem with the reason it's being done. I don't want game developers pandering to feminists (whom are rarely gamers to begin with), it rarely benefits the end experience.

The skimpy outfits were a hell of a lot more realistic in terms of practical fighting attire than these new outfits. Whats worse is that the most unrealistic aspects of those older skimpier outfits (the high heels) are still there, so its just kind of ridiculous to talk about these outfits in terms of realistic vs unrealistic.

Your comment would make sense if these new female outfits made sense, but they don't. They are less practical for hand-to-hand fighting than the skimpy outfits from MK9. In fact, the most impractical aspect of them is unchanged from MK9 to MK11. That being the high heels.

And Like I said, there is nothing practical about the new outfits. Tight fitting clothes restrict movement. Baggy clothes give your opponent something to grab onto and grapple you with. Clothes are not practical in a fight, period, because they get in the way. That's why professional fighters where as little as possible, male or female. And because they failed to fix the high heel thing, these outfits are more impractical than they've ever been... To an extreme degree.

Yeah...just like Batman, nothing is practical about his outfit, but the fitted tactical look is more believable than the more breathable, underwear on the outside Adam West outfit....which by todays standards, looks silly as fuck (hence the style part).

I don't give a f*** about the times. I also don't give a f*** about skimpy vs more covered female fighters in MK11. I was pointing out how absolutely ridiculous it was to claim that these new outfits were somehow more practical for hand-to-hand combat than their previous iterations. The one thing I DO give a f*** about is whether or not they look cool, and so far all these female ninjas in MK11 look stale as f***. The only exception being Jade, who merely looks ok in her revenant form.
