Kim at GameSpew: The Division 2's thunderstorms don't make for great conditions to wage a big fight in, but my god, they are spectacular.

Nothing about this game is incredible. Certainly not the graphics

porkChop2221d ago (Edited 2221d ago )

Looks great on my PC, what are you playing it on? And the game is great. Vastly improves on the issues from the first game.

Aeery2220d ago (Edited 2220d ago )

On PC is pretty awesome. Maxed out everything, up to 70/80 fps ... anyway, the game look incredible.

Unspoken2220d ago

First time I heard a storm coming in on my headset I swear I looked outside. Amazing atmosphere!

EddieNX 2221d ago

The graphics look good on my Xbox one X, very good. I'd give the graphics at least an 8/10

The facial animations aren't good but it doesnt matter.

Bluemaster772221d ago

So in a discussion about graphics facial animations dont matter? sure

Ricegum2221d ago

The graphics look good on my PC. I'll give it at least a 9/10.

The facial animations are quite decent for me.

EddieNX 2221d ago (Edited 2221d ago )

It's a looter shooter the story isn't that important. The facial animations are ok and do their job. Washington looks very realistic , tons of moveable objects rendered , high resolution textures, impressive geometry ,great lighting, weather . It couldn't really look much better on current gen tech. And it looks pretty impressive in 4K on X.

You're just wrong.

Ricegum - yh it's a great looking game. they all look rubber and emotionless to me . Top game though , done about 7 hours on it today with friends.

AllThingsShining2220d ago

@Bluemaster77 It's "It's" by the way.

Bluemaster772221d ago

All of you guys have really low standards lol but thats your issue to deal with. This game sucks

NovusTerminus2221d ago

Well shit, I guess before anyone starts to enjoy a game they better get your approval to like it.

Bluemaster772221d ago

Nah. Im just saying people settling for crap like this is why the industry is in shambles

EddieNX 2220d ago

Crap like what? A great game game with loads of content and a full year of free DLC.

A game that can provide over a hundred hours of gameplay with friends. Oh the horror.

Traecy2220d ago

That's clearly your opinion not a fact. The fact is I enjoyed the first game & I'm enjoying TD2 even more, the game is great addicting fun!!!

King_Noctis2220d ago

You’re so cool because you have such high standard.

warriorcase2220d ago (Edited 2220d ago )

How far did you get in the campaign and what would be a better alternative that people haven't played?

REDGUM2220d ago

Apologies..... you're a fool.

Bluemaster772220d ago

Yes I have and its unbelievably boring, repetitive, uninspired, mindless.

JeffGUNZ2220d ago

@ Bluemaster77

Gee, you must be fun at parties.

sampsonon2221d ago

the last game's blizzard FX was amazing as well.

CertifiedGamer2221d ago

How are the graphics in comparison to the E3 original footage trailer of the first game?

Gaming4Life19812220d ago

I just got the game on my ps4 pro and I'll say the game looks good but it's not groundbreaking. I probably should have got the game on PC maybe even xbox one x cause they are in 4k and I heard it looks great in 4k.

To answer your question I think it does look better than the original footage of the first game graphics. The effects of the first trailer is still not there like the bullet holes in the cars and windows but that small stuff but I'm having fun with the game.

JCOLE131952221d ago

Anyone else having the issue of missing sound effects? Like when it rains I can’t even hear the rain.

porkChop2220d ago

Haven't had that issue. I did have some crashes related to DX12 though. Switching to DX11 solved that.

jjb19812220d ago

2080 ti in 4K Ultra @60fps looks pretty incredible to me.

starchild2220d ago

Yeah, runs great on my 2070 too running at ultra settings and 1440p resolution. Very smooth performance and awesome visuals.

Great game but think we are ready for D3 now

N4GTG43d ago

The age of stretching out a game with new content and seasons has been upon us for a while. Sports games seem to be the only yearly releases now.

The Division 2 Celebrates Six Years

The Division 2 celebrates year 6 with some interesting events.

GamerRN44d ago

Let's get Division 3 already

Garethvk44d ago

No kidding. Rumors that it is in production but so was the Free to Play one. What city do you think they will do? I am curious about L.A. but it does seem to focus on the East Coast. Boston would be interesting.
