The file size is 12.52GB, though you’ll need more space available to download it initially before it’s compressed. The Sekiro 1.01 patch on day-one will be 3.671GB.

Forn2233d ago

That's seems pretty small for this game. I wonder if it really is shorter than their other games...

InMyOpinion2233d ago

From Softwares games are usually this small in file size.

Rambokind2233d ago

No, the game is much more simplified than earlier titles, fewer weapons, etc. Dark Souls Remastered was under 10. The game will be approx. 30 hours long, like other From Soft titles.

Flewid6382233d ago

Game size has nothing to do with game length.

Furesis2233d ago

the pre-load isn't available on steam yet right? any idea when?

gammaray132233d ago

no one cares for pc scrubs lol

Furesis2233d ago

(sigh...)
You are getting too attached to a machine... Troll

Flewid6382233d ago

I only game on PlayStation and I am literally getting this for Steam. lol.

AK912233d ago

That's strange it should be ready by now

Stanjara2233d ago

Will Sekiro really run at 1080p 60 on PS4 Pro?

DaGR8JIBRALTAR2233d ago

Unfortunately yes...good that's its 60fps...bad that it's only 1080p.

Gardenia2233d ago (Edited 2233d ago )

Bloodborne is 1080p 30fps so this much better. 60fps in fast paced games is far more important than resolution

Edit: Now I hear that the frame rate is not locked to 60fps but varies between 45 and 60 with low 30 in some areas. If true that sucks

DaGR8JIBRALTAR2233d ago

@Gardenia. Bloodborne released in 2015 b4 the higher spec Ps4 pro ...what's your point?

Stanjara2233d ago

I'm sure that digital Foundry tested the demo or whatnot and performance mode was 40 and 50...all over the place.

marioJP872233d ago

That's it? 12.5 GB?
How many hours of gameplay this game has?

Greg28012233d ago

From Software games are always around this size

Ezio20482233d ago

Bloodborne was around 29gb. This is significantly smaller in file size.

Shiken2233d ago (Edited 2233d ago )

Larger than Zelda BotW or Skyrim, and those are both 150 plus hour games. You can fit a ton of content on 12.5 GB. One of the biggest factors im a big file size is uncompressed audio with a lot of voice acting. This does not seem like a game that will have a lot of that though.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Review

NoobFeed editor Ahnaf Tajwar writes - FromSoftware cooked up one of the best combat systems with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and never did anything like it again. That may be a good thing, as it makes this game one of a kind. If you are a fan of Souls games or a borderline masochist, you will, without a doubt, love Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice because it is a masterpiece. It is a must-play for all hardcore gamers.

Hells yeah. Would love to see another really tight action focused title next. Be cool if he did something completely different, like a cyborg-ninja game.
