It's not a lazy remastered, that is good news

Marcello1918d ago

Yea so far its looking far from a lazy port which is normally the case with Ubisoft. I might even pick this up again, it is a great AC game.

Assassin's Creed Rogue was a lazy remaster

BrettAwesome1918d ago

I agree. At least it runs 4k on the enhanced machines. But still...

Hardiman1917d ago

That's true but I wish they would've implemented HDR. Thankful they are with this remaster along with the other additions.

I can't wait to see how it runs on Switch. It would be an awesome portable game if it runs and looks ok.

BrettAwesome1917d ago

I don't get the disagrees. Switch gets so few of these games. I can't keep playing DOOM and skyrim, can I?

iplay1up21917d ago (Edited 1917d ago )

The Switch Version of this looks great. I bought Skyrim, and Doom too. Both are great on Switch, and I play them more, than I did my X1X versions, even thought they look better on my Xbox. Diablo 3 is great. I had never played it though, you probably already have. Raving Rabbids, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Final Fantasy 9, are great, and long! Its just nice to be able to play these games anywhere.

literally the worst assasins creed game tho

LoveSpuds1918d ago

I would probably agree with you although, to be fair, it got more flak than it deserved, I thought it was still a pretty decent game overall.

I know the series has a lot of people who knock it, but I have enjoyed every single title, I am currently at 80+ hours in AC: Odyssey and having a blast, well on my way to a platinum trophy.

Hardiman1917d ago

I've put 112 in Origins and Ive completed the main story as well as The Hidden Ones but just started Curse of the Pharaohs. I played it throughout 2017 and took a break last year and started on Odyssey. I've put 100 in Odyssey and I'm playing it as we speak. If I get burned out I take a break but sits always fun jumping back in!

LoveSpuds1917d ago

Yeah, I had to take breaks in my search for a platinum on both Origins and currently in Odyssey but that doesn't diminish hiw great the games are, it's just that there is so much to see and do in these games.

Hardiman1917d ago

You're so right and I absolutely love photo mode! I pull up the map and look at the pics from my adventures and I can remember what was happening when I took the photo. Like you said there's just so much to do and see. AC is probably my favorite semi annual third party series.

BlaqMagiq11918d ago

That title belongs to Assassin's Creed 1 by far

Razmiran1917d ago

Yeah, first game wasnt great even for its time

starchild1917d ago

I really liked Connor and the narrative of AC3. It also had the smoothest looking combat of any of the games.

I have really liked every game in the series and I'm not sure how I would rank them exactly. Assassin's Creed Liberation would probably be my least favorite, only because it was short and not quite as well developed.

ShadowWolf7121917d ago (Edited 1917d ago )

I liked Liberation, 3 is my favorite though. Especially Connor.

I'd say my least favorites are Unity, Origins, and Revelations.
