once in a great while he writes something good or has some solid points. Once in a blue moon regarding Destiny. Pretty much everything else, perhaps everything else I've read, not so much. Usually mindless drivel.

I'm only at Chapter 9 since i'm trying to milk this out over the week. Combat with Nero doesn't feel as solid as DMC4; perhaps that's just nostalgia since I haven't played 4 since it's release. I think level design, to a degree could have been better but overall is solid. The camera, preferably, should be moved back a little. However at the end of the day it has all the staples of DMC. Also my forearm is killing me. Especially when trying to combo w/ both pets V has; good ole button mashers... Despite what I may or may not nit pick about DMC 5 is the very essence of what is the DMC series to date. So idk how it's missing it's heart. They didn't go outside the box or make changes. It's classic PS2 era hack n slash action/adventure. At the same time I would've certainly preferred having a bit more moves to start this game. But don't most to all sequels suddenly gimp you even though you should have some tricks up your sleeve?

The games designed that way for a reason. While us vets already know the combos. This progressions of abilities gets boobies comfortable with their arsenal and then deliberately seek out new moves which of course they will want to try out.

Also dmc 5 Nero no question plays better then dmc 4. So it’s probably your nostalgia. I played 4 to death. Beat Dante must day mode. Nero was super easy to win in 4, now Nero has a lot more style a lot less press o to win
