I wish Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would sell some more. Truly amazing game, my favorite Switch title in fact.

Maybay2022d ago

Yeah it's a shame, though it's a million seller worldwide so it is successful nonetheless.

Going back to that news article about how Google was entering the gaming market, I got downvoted because I stated, "Micosoft and Sony should be worried." This news just proves my point. Most of the time (except Wii U, and Virtual boy) Nintendo can support their own gaming platforms with their own software (1st/2nd party). Microsoft and Sony rely on 3rd party's to propel their hardware sales (and Nintendo to some extent).

Yes the Wii U and Virtual Boy were failures, though Nintendo's IP software sales for those platforms were amazing.

That’s is amazing switch have 7 games that sold a million in Japan vs 3 Sony had which are all 3rd party final fantasy XV, Dragon Quest 11 and. Monster hunter world. The crazy part after this year nintendo will have more than 10

Zelda, Pokemon sword and shield, Mario maker will all reach 1 million to have switch at 10 million sellers

Add fire emblem and the million seller list keep growing

Only 4 out of 20 are published by third parties.

Nintentional2022d ago

Your point? How many first party Sony games that successful?? It’s only 3rd party that sells on Sony platforms bro.

Knushwood Butt2022d ago

Point is that 3rd parties don't get a look in on Switch.

LoL! No
First party , second party and third party games on PlayStation get the same amount of love. , baby.
This why PS4 is the most balance platform today with 10 M+ selling exclusive and multiplat franchises.

Maybe they shouldn’t rely on ports remasters and unoriginal yearly churns then 🤔😜 sure Nintendo have had some ports and remasters but top notch quality games that the majority missed out on last Gen it worked for Sony. Plus the games are great they worth remaking porting whatever.
3rd parties generally don’t get a look in as they don’t match the sheer quality of the Nintendo games a quick look at the reviews on metacritic will show you that Zelda Mario etc 97’s

RosweeSon2021d ago

Huh splatoon 2 pretty cool game but thought mario Zelda smash or Pokemon’s be too physical unless majority went digital as let’s face apart from maybe Pokemon those games should be built in the console or at least stored on the internal memory great games you’ll want access to at any point just a shame Nintendo’s digital prices are full whack and the sales are just whack. Get it for £38 instead of £49.99 but it’s Been £39.99 physical since day one what a deal 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️ 😜✌🏻

The Karate Kid: Street Rumble review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "Despite the popularity of The Karate Kid trilogy in the ‘80s, it didn’t gain anywhere near as many gaming adaptations as the likes of Back to the Future, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. The first film saw a considerably rough entry on the NES, published by the notorious JLN, while the Amiga and Atari ST were blessed with a reasonably well received tie-in for the sequel. It seems that by the time the third film rolled around in 1989, attention had turned to the likes of Rambo, Terminator and Predator, with many early tie-ins for the Mega Drive being more violent and gung ho. It probably didn’t help that Part III was panned by movie goers either."
