IGN writes: "Put a beautiful beau in a hot sports car, toss in a gorgeous babe for him to boink and then prop up a bunch of would-be henchman to stand in between our hero and his goal and you have the recipe for just about every Bond film in history. Of course, with every movie comes a game of the same name and Quantum of Solace is no different. It takes the Call of Duty 4 engine and wraps it around the James Bond universe with a few new trimmings to try and keep the action feeling as fresh as possible.
It's just a bummer that roughly everything that was added in an effort to keep the game feeling fresh isn't done all that well. They're not bad additions, they just don't meld or work especially well with the rest of the game and therefore come off feeling very forced and artificial."
Everyone’s been thinking about James Bond lately, with the franchise’s latest cinematic release tantalisingly close yet pushed back by the pandemic. It serves as a reminder of the wider obstacles faced by this particular franchise—one that can be nimble, competitive, and invigorating—but yet is a behemoth always struggling against the weight of its reputation in a changing creative landscape. The video games inspired by these films are a particular testament to those difficulties, considering their trajectory: an early enormous success in GoldenEye, through weakly received adaptations and original stories, to a near-decade of non-existence.
In the 38th episode of GO!, the first person who plays as three different characters in three different video games who have the same first name as an Achievement Hunter becomes this week's victor and gets a sticker to add to their collection.

I actually enjoyed the game. The scenery was really good and varied. It wasnt the best shooter ever, but it was certainly worth playing if you like the bond franchise at all. Bloodstone was good to, just different.
Quantum of suck.
I'll be renting this game even though i heard single player only last 4 hrs...online should be a lil more engaging though
I wanted this game to be really good :(
I think it was going to be good, but the game got juiced for Call of Duty World at War which I'm sure most of us would dish out $60 for rather than a Bond game. Had Call of Duty World at War got pushed back to 2009 like Treyarch believed it was, then I think this game would have gotten the treatment they were going to put into it.
damn i was looking foward to this game too.. nevermind now...
i hope cod5 doesn't get the same rating since Treyarch use the same engine for this game.
*back to LBP.. far cry 2..*
