Do we still need Demos

After Nintendo’s latest Direct we ask ourselves do we still need demos in today’s age of modern gaming.

I like demos if a certain game has a demo best way to try out a game before I purchase it can't rent games anymore since movie stores are all gone.

Watching a game and some banshee screech over it and actually playing a game and two very different experiences and if you aren't 100% sure demos are great to be able to test it out. Seeing as you suggested pirating then I'm assuming you are a troll that just likes to rob developers.

Do we still need a way to determine whether or not a game is worth buying before release? Yes, yes we do. If not then all we'd have to go by is coverage by the biased gaming sites and even more biased youtubers. If anything we need more demos.
