The Nintendo Switch finally has a military shooter with Modern Combat Blackout! How does it stack up compared to the likes of Call of Duty or Battlefield?
WTMG's Leo Faria: "Despite being little else than a port of a mobile game, Modern Combat Blackout is quite enjoyable, especially if you’re craving for a more traditional FPS offering on the Switch. It makes up for its underwhelming visuals, framerate, and campaign mode with a decent multiplayer and great controls. It gives me hope for future Gameloft endeavors on the console, as well as alerting Activision that you can make CoD-like shooters work on the Switch. You’re losing the race, guys."
Short Pause: "Check out the first two missions of the Modern Combat Blackout campaign as well as a few rounds of its multiplayer gameplay."
Pure Ninty: Gameloft has officially announced today that it is bringing Modern Combat 5: Blackout to the Nintendo Switch in the coming weeks, and that it’ll cost $19.99.
Activision will finally fold this year and bring a portable COD to Switch. Modern warfare remastered or something like that. Would be stupid not to.
Okay, if we're doing this, then I'd like to see a Vita port of Killzone and Resistance for my Switch!
