Someone reached Level 33 in NES Tetris? It's true, but just in case you don't know the significance behind that, we got the deets (and video!) here.
The fact that this guy is 16 makes this even more crazy. Great job.
Nah, that's like peak gamer skill age in my opinion. Anecdotally, I used to play Tetris NES all the time when I was 16, and all my lifetime highest scores and highest levels reached (I was never nearly as good as this guy, my high school was a little over 500,000 and my highest level reached was 21 or 22 I think, it's been a very VERY long time but I remember it decently well enough haha), and 16/17 and sophomore/junior year of high school were my best years. I still play NES Tetris sometimes but it's been a couple decades (ugh) since those peak skill years, and I can't even get past level 15 anymore or more than about 200,000 points, and that's on a really good day. My typical score lately is like level 12 and 100,000 points. Old reflexes just aren't there anymore. Plus, I just don't have time to practice often enough to even reach my peak potential right now.
Boom Tetris for Joseph!
Noice! I still play this at work, heh.
Holy crap that's insane. Kudos to this kid I couldn't ever even get passed 10
Damn that was crazy! Congrats Joseph
Autism levels way over 9000!
This kidd must've been a tetris grandmaster in his previous life and now have come back to rule us mortals.
How TF is that possible?
Hyper-tapping. If you just hold down the left or right direction on the D-pad to move the pieces as they fall, it really is impossible.
