Disney, unsurprisingly, has high expectations for Square Enix when it comes to using its properties in Kingdom Hearts, but Pixar's expectations may be even higher.
The Wonderful World of Disney has brought along many great characters in the Kingdom Hearts series.
Footage from an early Kingdom Hearts 3 prototype has confirmed Square Enix's original plans to include assets from Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
The first two titles in the trilogy were already Steam Deck Verified, but now Kingdom Hearts III has gotten its coveted green checkmark.
I wasn’t a fan of the Toy story story in KH3 tbh. Maybe it’s because the team has more Toy Story movies coming out, but it just felt limited especially with the lack of characters. Not just that but Buzz personality seemed all so wrong, like he swapped placed with woody from the first movie
Monster inc and Big Hero Six I thought we’re done well because the characters acted as they should have and they did feel like they could have been a “sequel” portion to those games since they continued off where their last films left
The way KH3 handled Toy Story’s world didn’t make it seem canon. It seemed more fanfic than anything else
Like we’re supposed to believe alternate dimensions can exist in this movie’s lore
The expectations they had for their properties in KH3 really took it down a notch. No Pixar villains could be used as boss fights? Fuck that. Time to move KHs to another universe. One with less red tape.
Seems like they struggled with all the Pixar worlds. Doesn't seem like they were given much freedom. Frozen and Tangled are just retelling of the movies, and the other 3 are really tamed. Honestly they should push for more creative freedom with the next game cause if I wanted to go through the story of the movies I'd just watch the movies
