You could even “accidentally” take the Switch to bed with you and just forego sleep entirely, opting instead to run on making strategic decisions and caffeine."
Thea: The Awakening is a god-simulator mixed with a dash of 4X and survival with card-based combat. Not everything has to be solved with the edge of a blade, either.

Played this game on PC when it first came out, before the UI improvements, and lost hours and hours to it. It's one of those games that's addictive, interesting, and yet somehow never satisfying.
EDIT: That said I'd play the heck out of a sequel.
