As work on Death Stranding continues, Kojima Productions has been recording Japanese voices this week with actors Kenjiro Tsuda (Sam), Akio Otsuka and Kikuko Inoue.

Straight form the horses mouth - not that Kojima is a horse; although I wouldn't put it past him to cameo as a horse in one of his games. Anyway I really don't think this game will release this year, early 2020 is my bet with this one.

The actor, Akio Otsuka, is an original voice of Snake.
The actress, Kikuko Inoue, is an original voice of The Boss.
They are long time friends, and known for heavy influence on the characters Kojima created.
Kojima actually cast Akio's father, Chikao Otsuka, for The Big Boss in MGS4 to add extra layer of meaning to the last confrontation. (Difficult past father-son relationship of Otsukas were known to public.)
It is a trivia that many die-hard western MGS fans don't know about it.
It's really great to see that Kojima is working with his family again.
