Post-launch free content announced for Resident Evil 2 Remake

DSOGaming writes: "Capcom has just announced that a new game mode will be added for free to Resident Evil 2 Remake after its release. This will be the first post-launch free content that will be arriving to this highly anticipated remake, though there is no word yet on its ETA or whether it will be followed by additional free content."

I really didn't predict Capcom would turn it around this gen (or ever), but they're almost back! The only places where they seem to lag now are in their fighting games and the lack of the new IPs. But I'm sure the money they'll make from RE2 will help them hit their stride again.

I really hope that the Monster Hunter: World expansion sells well also. Looks like they're adding a massive amount of content to the game. G Rank, new continent, tons of new large monsters.

I hope it like RE4 but you're in a house/store and you have to use the shelves etc to block the windows/doors, and arm yourself (maybe co-op) to survive until you're able to find your way to another location to rearm or rations etc. until you can reach the police station.

They put their money on Western influence, and it failed them big time. By returning to form and doing well by their IP and meeting fan expectations, in the last couple years they're clawing their way back to the top. I was really concerned for awhile, but you can't deny the quality of Monster Hunter, Resident Evil and Mega Man lately. Also, Dragon's Dogma on Switch in April!
