Michael Kitchin, "As a remaster, Hitman HD Enhanced Collection does deliver the best looking edition of these games to consoles but there's a sense the price is hard to justify. If either of these titles are missing from your Hitman collection, it's worth a look. I've had fun and found myself nostalgic re-examining these two titles. I can't deny it's a difficult package to recommend to veterans unless they really, really want to see a sharper image."
"Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is a remaster of two classic games. You have to take this into account when you purchase this one. It is slightly higher priced than a lot of remastered games on sale at the moment. Although I think this is a great buy and should be in everyone’s collection if you enjoy Hitman. For me these are polar opposites regarding gameplay style and worthy of everyone’s time." Roy @ TC
A new coat of paint improves both Blood Money and Absolution but with few other additions, Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is a hard sell.
So we’re allowed to complain about the full price of this rerelease but not when Nintendo prices their rereleases at full price?
Pure PlayStation: The weekend is almost upon us and to help players stay indoors and avoid the real world, Sony is running a PSN Flash Sale on both the North American and European PlayStation Stores.
I look forward to playing them again after they lower that joke of a price.
I paid $40.00 for the Hitman HD trilogy for Xbox 360 , which included Contracts , Silent Assassin & Blood Money plus it was a physical copy. I had Absolution at the time I purchased the trilogy & it was a physical copy as well. We now have consoles capable of 4k , so they decide to rerelease Blood Money & Absolution at a higher resolution , charge $60.00 & sell it digitally only? They need to lower the price to $30.00 - $40.00 for the two games if they want it to sell.
