Just for shits and giggles they shoulda allowed you to use the PS1 models kinda like how you can use the blocky Lara in Shadow of the Tomb Raider as a good callback to the PS1 days.

I'm secretly hoping there's a Easter egg in this game similar to the one in RE5 that allowed to to play some of the game with fixed camera angles through some of the first DLC. That was brilliant for us old school fans.

What's the point of a remake if it looks the same as the original? Just like how there's already apparently heavy backlash that it doesn't use the classic camera. That was the most horrid control scheme that made ps1 games a chore. It's so silly, there's no pleasing everyone I guess.

That's pretty awesome. It's great when games have secret levels or missions or even settings harking back to the old retro days. I.E Wolfenstein, Doom etc

The demo apparently runs worse under DirectX 12 than DirectX 11 so users facing performance issues should switch over.
