Especially when they know people want a direct sequel...if they waste that story on something not many of us are going to pick up then it's even worse.

The comic is called Judgement, from what I've read. Blackout is the working title of the new game.

Yeah as I'm scanning this article, I'm reading Fire and Stone. Really great Alien. Predator and Prometheus story but I hope Blackout is a sequel to Isolation!

The press release from FOXNext said fps for PC and consoles. This is the release they sent last Jan. Nothing since aside from reports that Alien: Blackout was trademarked.

The whole "read. play. watch" thing has me a little concerned. Half expecting some short comic, a mobile game and mini-web series. I really REALLY hope i'm wrong. And if there is a true sequel then I would love for Creative Assembly to hold the reigns again and not handed off to the new studio FoxNext and have this be their first game. I'm gonna remain hopeful but set expectation low.

I hope so alien isolation is my favorite alien game other than alien colonial marines. I know alien colonial marines is garbage but as a die hard alien fan and tons of mods I made it decent.

Yes! Beat Isolation and some of its DLC on Nightmare mode, seen the first 3 Alien flicks, and own Covenant on Blu ray. Great IP I gotta say.

Alien Isolation was one of the few games where I felt the tension! This and Dead Space are among the few games that you can actually feel the dread throughout the environments. Hoping for a full fledged sequel.

Jesus, I really hope this is a proper sequel to Alien Isolation and not some choice-based story telling or something for mobile. I will seriously be disappointed if true and there will surely be a lot of backlash.

Why can’t companies just stick to the script... it’s obvious what the people want, yet they do something unnecessary only to disappoint us. Let’s let our voices be heard with our wallets if this is turns out to be a cash grab.

I don't unfortunately...
It's really a shame Isolation is honestly one of my favorite games of the generation and at the very least a competent stealth game, horror game or sci-fi game. Hopefully we still get a true sequel.
