The most visually stunning games of 2018.
A Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered multiplayer mod is in development by the community, and there's even early gameplay footage.
Insomniac Games' 2018 web-swinging adventure, Marvel's Spider-Man, has generated almost 4 billion US Dollars in revenue during its first year.
For those spreading lies here about Marvel making the most out of the deal...
The rate has tiers. 9% to 18% physical and 19% to 26% digital for the first 7 mil. So even if it's 26% for all versions it's not that much. Considering all platform holders charge 30%. And just like 30% is how much Sony is getting from call of duty.
Now let's think about how much money Microsoft is making off Indiana Jones on PS5 and steam since there is a platform cut of 30% plus the disney cut...ouch. 😏
Can someone explain me the math here. 20 million copies x $60 = $1.2 billion max (assuming every copy was sold at $60 which it possibly couldn't).
Even Gta5/RDR2 didn't generate this much revenue in their first year even though they sold much more. Something is off here with this revenue calculation.
Detroit: Become Human - Tokyo Stories, a new comic inspired by the 2018 universe created by Quantic Dream. This first volume, finally translated into English by publisher Yen Press, follows the story of Reina – an android idol who’s attracted fame and helped change the public’s perception of robots.
Really great list, top games mate!
Detroit is also my winner!
It's been another great year for gaming, right before we are stepping into next gen (possibly in 2019 already, if not, then 2020 for sure...), so the mind boggles at the possibilities/potential coming to us gamers soon.
I liked Spider-Man, but was a bit let-down by the setting: Yeah, it's a gorgeous and faithful rendition of New York, but sadly, New York is quite a visually boring city.
Red Dead 2 is absolutely amazing though, especially when you take into account it's an open world game (a huge one at that).
Loved the demo for Detroit, and once I've cleared a few more games from my backlog, I'm looking forward to picking it up. Same goes for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
A shame there aren't downloadable/'smaller' games on the list though. Divinity original Sin 2, Tetris, Ashen, Gris, etc etc.
God bless ps4
And the winner is... A QTE movie!!!!!!
