Fallout 3 is a special videogame. It's an open-world role-playing game that delivers an experience unlike anything on the market right now. It's a gripping and expansive showcase of how much depth and excitement can be packed into one videogame, and it does justice to the Fallout franchise. This sequel is the first made by Bethesda, the developers responsible for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. You don't need to play any of their past games or any previous Fallout games to enjoy this one. It stands on its own as a memorable and well-crafted videogame.

I guess game reviewers are all 6 years old then since they all agree that LittleBigPlanet is fantastic.

LBP is gaming in its purest form, simplistic but deep fun, and then goes further by letting you be creative as well and doesn't rely on blood, cursing and moulded plastic armour to sell.

I preordered the 360 version. Unfortunately my 360 sounds like a jet engine. I wish the PS3 version had trophies out of box, I probably would've bought that version because my PS3 is silent.

i'll get trophies my SECOND time around, when they patch it...'cause i know i'll be playing it over again and again, and again....besides, its a shorter wait for a patch then it is for DLC that has YET to be created yet(dejavu; GTA4 i'm looking at you too). and 100+ hours is enuff to sustain me, at least til the supped up "Oblivion: Game of the Year edition" version rears its head next year.

How old is your 360? The newer 360 drives are alot quieter and I should know as I just traded my 3 year old 360 in for a brand new, one month old 360 and its alot quieter! the older ones were rather loud, however it didn't bother me that much as I always had my surround sound system turned up quite high anyway.

Dude get on the pre-orders early. Pay them off 20 per pay check. A month and half latter it is paid for and its on to the next pre-order. I use it like a credit system.

Based on IGN, only 2 games got 10/10 so far.

- GTA:IV - 10/10 (Multi)
- Metal Gear Solid 4 - 10/10 (PS3)

If it wasn't for GTA:IV, the 360 wouldn't have a single 10/10 game from IGN.

Have you ever considered the third entity known as the PC, which basically outclasses both versions? Because obviously you didn't and you're pathetic attempt at grabbing at a few straws over the PS3 version doesn't change the fact that the experience you have with the game on each version is the same (minus the few hiccups). If you feel the need to try and validate your superiority over another, then you are truly pathetic and a person who enjoys videogames.

Regardless, great score for a great game. There's absolutely no time between college and all the great games coming out.

I'm no Sony Fanboy, in fact I don't even own a PS3, but honestly, you're the one who's pathetic. Seriously, if there is a difference (I didn't read that much into the reviews) then it's not going to break the game. If I had only a PS3 and 360, I would probably buy the PS3 version just so I don't have to listen to my 360's obnoxiously loud drive.

Thankfully, I'm getting the PC version. All the DLC, no drive sounds, cheapest, and I get to use a mouse. All in all, the best version.

Actually, you'll go for the one on the console that is not the console you refuse to buy due to some illogical hatred! I'm going for the version that is the superior version, aka the PC version. Mods, better framerate, and DLC makes it a win. And I believe the PC version has achievements as well which will be free since GFW is now free!

I have like a 14,000 xbox gamerscore and a bunch of trophies for some ps3 games and I really couldn't care less. I really couldn't understand why people got so excited for trophies and achievements but oh well.
And I really don't think people with ps3's have to worry about a 9.4 cause i'm sure that those bugs will be fixed in a couple weeks and they said that the games look the same and play the same on both consoles. PC owners have to brag about their games looking better on their 23'' screens, good for them. Their games better look better then the console versions. After all their PC's cost more then 4 ps3's. I'll be enjoying all my ps3 and xbox 360 games on my 70'' hdtv or maybe my 50'' pioneer kuro.

Been playing Fallout 3 on my pops XBR8....man this game could not look any better...the characters look a bit goofy tho the faces will make you lol at sometimes....how does it feel when your beating someones ass and they constantly smile at you...lol.

Game of the Year Nominee at it's best. Pick it up!

I have a comment that I will like to contribute to what people are saying here. Stop with the PC vs Xbox 360 debate, they are both Microsoft (At the top of the Fallout 3 PC case on IGN, it says Games for Windows and Windows is owned by Microsoft, hell if you have a gamertag on XBL and you decided to get achievements for Fallout 3 on the PC, it will show Fallout 3 Windows achievements on your gamertag on XBL)

But as for me, I am getting the 360 version because I don't have a PC. I have a mac...

And another comment, the 360's fan isn't really that loud and it had never bothered me, it'd never interrupted gameplay for me and all my friends, if you complain about it being too loud, then I assume that you are trying to make yourself feel bothered by it and you are way too focus on it than the game that you were playing at the time...

Actually, it's not so much that we are afraid of RROD or w/e debacle the 360 might have nor is it the fact that we are trying not to support MSFT in any way possible. It is actually how people are saying the 360 version is godly and the best version to play on because it has x, y, and z. In reality this is not true, because the PC is capable of higher and smoother rendering, without the hiccups that can be found on consoles. Additionally, it has customization support which the consoles do not. Basically what people are trying to say with the PC comments is that the PC version offers more flexibility compared to say a console's which is set in stone and cannot be changed in anyway. Also, it depends on who is saying this...core gamers who enjoy games, or ***boys who are idiots (its the former in this particular article anyway).

Do not buy this game. You may be looking forward to this game but for the love of god, do not. Its sh*t! Gameplay is pathetic and graphics are merely eye candy before you find out its so generic and worthless....Waste of money!
