Man I'm tempted! This is the only game I will buy a joySTICK for. I used to love seeing if I can beat it with just putting one set of quarters in (it cost 50 c) back them for a turn.

Loved R Type back in the day
I recently got this on the 360 and it plays okay. that isometric view can be a bit tricky to get used to but its cool.
Beat both yesterday. I turned the graphics mode to retro 2.0. Made it look like a Saturn/PS1 game which is awesome.
Fun game. Just wish it had the same music as Super R-Type. Felt weird playing a familiar game with an almost entirely different soundtrack.
