We get lots and lots of video game sequels these days – some good, some bad – but there are some really terrible ones out there that nobody asked for. Here are 10 that come to mind.

I’m sure nobody was asking for Mega Man 2, Street Fighter 2, Assassin’s Creed 2, Red Dead Redemption, TimeSplitters 2, Dynasty Warriors 3, Grand Theft Auto 3, Tomb Raider: Legend, Killzone 2, Red Steel 2, Just Cause 2, Borderlands 2, Watch Dogs 2, Titanfall 2, Twisted Metal 2, or Saints Row 2 because the first game or the game prior proved to be either divisive or unmemorable. Yet the world is better for all these sequels that nobody would’ve initially wanted existing.
Several of the listed games aren't sequels, but fans wanted more entries of their favorite series. However, the majority of the games listed in the article didn't live up to fan and critic expectations.
I loved FFXIII but imo it didn't need a sequel & it definitely didn't need a trilogy.
FF13-2 was actually great, but we didnt need another one after it
